Post-grunge, Chicago-influenced garage-rock and hard-punk Berlin trio Schwindel will tease songs from the second LP “Tod dem Diktator”, which will be released later this year. Comprising of members of Berlin-based hardcore bands Grow Grow, erai and Local Support, Schwindel’s hardcore and melodic thrashings have earned them comparisons with the likes of Oma Hans, Turbostaat, Pissed Jeans, Hot Snakes, amongst others. Expect loud guitars and downbeat melodic choruses, for you to spill your beer to in the pit. Joining them are Octo, travelling all the way from Köln. Octo are the by-product of combing two bass players, an enigmatic free-style drummer, and a love for krautwave and post-rock. The instrumental trio combines distortion and agreesive rhythms to create a restless, fat, and a concocted noise that drills through the ear canal and lands straight into the kidneys. Immediate, hard and brittle in sound. Multifaceted, skilled and agile in implementation.
