| HUGS OF THE SKY (Brussels, Belgium) (Rock Psyché) Despite their young age, Hugs of the Sky already has quite an impressive curriculum vitae: since 2018 they released four full albums and went on five European tours. On one of these, they supported the legendary 80s band Sisters of Mercy: they received a personal invitation from the Lord of Darkness himself, Andrew Eldritch. In the beginning of 2023 the Limburgers headed again into the studio to record an EP, this time with Kasper De Sutter (El Yunque) and Frederik Tack behind the buttons, known for some as the ‘Asterix and Obelix’ of the Belgian music production scene. On this EP, mastered by the Australian Joe Carra (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard), the psychotic stoner punk of Hugs of the Sky sounds equally freaky and accessible. They also supported Jealous, The Homesick or Tramhaus. Very first Berlin show!
