Oskoreien is an American atmospheric black metal project with strong neofolk and classical influences. The band is based in Los Angeles and was founded as the solo project of Jay Valena. Oskoreien was featured on the “Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer” compilation in 2010, alongside such artists as Agalloch, October Falls, Fen, and more. A self-titled full length album followed in early 2011.
